SWTOR Shae Vizla (Hunter’s Exalted) Gauntlet Assembly

Before I even began working on the Hunter’s Exalted Shae Vizla armour, I knew that the gauntlet assembly was going to be one of the most challenging parts of the build. Because it is so incredibly detailed, the top half at the very least would absolutely have to be CAD modelled and 3D printed.

The gauntlet is made up of a few distinct parts: flamethrower (top), rocket launcher (side), and a data readout screen (bottom), all of which seem to be affixed to the gauntlet shell that drapes around the forearm. When starting the build, I envisioned that I would 3D model and ultimately cast only the 3 main detail components mentioned above, vacuum form the two halves of the gauntlet shell out of ABS and affix the former to the latter. However, as the build progressed, it became apparent that a lot more would have to be 3D printed than initially envisioned….
