This was a project I completed for a corporate client who hired me to design and build an original non-functional space satellite model to use as a display prop at trade shows. Drawing inspiration from the Voyager spacecraft and the various existing satellites that are currently flying overhead, I designed the model in 3D, and manufactured it using a combination of 3D printing, laser cutting and resin casting. The solar panels and antenna dish attach with magnets for easy take down for transportation. Model also features a small projector to play promotional videos at the show.
